About Shahi Litchi
Shahi Litchi grows in the orchards around Muzaffarpur in north Bihar, where the soil and the humid early summer give the fruit its thin skin, small seed and sweet, fragrant flesh.
The season is short — mainly May and June — and the fruit was granted a Geographical Indication in 2018.
